Get ready to see the world in a whole new way with Pablo Picasso! Students will learn about this famous and imaginative artist and explore how he challenged traditional ideas about what art should look like.

We’ll discover Cubism, the art style Picasso helped develop, and learn how he used shapes, lines, colors, and different viewpoints to create his unique artwork. Students will have fun learning how artists can break objects and faces into geometric shapes and rearrange them in creative ways.

For our hands-on project, students will create their own Cubism inspired faces! They’ll experiment with shapes, colors, lines, and different facial features to create a fun and unique portrait inspired by Picasso’s style.

This class is great for kids age 6 and up. No previous art experience is needed, just come ready to learn, create, and have fun!
