Get ready to explore the colorful and creative world of Andy Warhol! Students will learn about this famous Pop Art artist and discover how he transformed everyday objects and images into bold, colorful works of art.
We’ll explore Pop Art, patterns, repetition, bright colors, and the idea of turning something ordinary into something extraordinary. Students will look at examples of Warhol’s artwork and learn how repetition and color can completely change the way we see an image.
For our hands on art experience, students will use patterns, color, and their own handprints to create imaginative artwork inspired by Warhol’s playful and recognizable style. Each student will have the opportunity to turn a simple handprint into something creative and unique!
This class is great for kids age 6 and up. No previous art experience is needed, just come ready to learn, create, and have fun!
